Our 6 Step Program
Step 1 - Early Spring: Supplies Dry Granular Fertilizer and Pre-emergent Crabgrass Control.
Fertilizer assists with spring green up. This is also the best time to effectively control crabgrass, foxtail, and other annual grasses.
Step 2 - Spring: Supplies a Balanced Rate of Dry Granular Fertilizer and Weed Control as needed. A balanced rate fertilizer is applied and any weeds that are actively growing will be treated. We will also inspect the turf for any insect damage.
Step 3 - Summer: Supplies Slow Release Dry Granular Fertilizer, Weed Control, Crab Grass Control and Sedge Control as needed. This is also the time of year when we recommend applying our grub worm preventative treatment to protect your lawn from these aggressive insects.
Step 4 - Late Summer: This application occurs at the time in which your lawn will show the most disease and/or insect damage. The late summer application allows Green Envy to diagnose any issues, spot treat weeds and apply another round of slow release granular fertilizer
Step 5 - Fall: Supplies a Balanced Rate of Dry Granular Fertilizer and Weed Control as needed. A balanced rate fertilizer is applied and any weeds that are actively growing will be treated.
Step 6 - Late Fall: Heavy Rate of Dry Granular Fertilizer and Weed Control as needed. This is the time of the year when your lawn requires the most nutrients as it is actively growing and storing nutrients for the winter. Fertilization at this time of year impacts how quickly your lawn will green up in the Spring.

Grub Protection: The best time to pre-treat your lawn for Grubs is in the summer application. Symptoms Include: irregular brown spots of wilted, dead or dying turf during spring and fall, that can be rolled back with your fingers and easily lifted from the ground. If left untreated, White Grubs can destroy your entire lawn and total replacement of the lawn is often necessary. Learn More...
Fungicide Applications: Lawns are most susceptible to disease in recently seeded lawns and sodded lawns, planted within the last 5 years. Multiple applications of fungicides may be necessary to stop or prevent fungi activity. A minimum of 2 treatments applied approximately 14 to 21 days apart is recommended at first sight of disease activity. Preventative fungicides and proper cultural practices together are the most effective means for controlling lawn diseases.
Over Seeding: Helps to improve the density of your lawn. The ideal time to over seed is in the fall in conjunction with a double pass Core Aeration. Learn More...
